Changing Belts

About 30 minutes, tops.
Loosen the 10mm bolt in the centre of the a/c idler, and use a 6mm on the square adjuster bolt facing the ground, remove that belt.
Undo the inner locknut at the alternator adjuster, 14mm,, wind the outer nut down the threaded rod, thus releasing the belt tension, remove that belt.
Refit is obviously the reverse. DO NOT overtighten those belts, and CHECK then after about an hours running.
Also check the idler pulley, it is possibly PLASTIC, and I would replace it. I use a steel aftermarket with a replaceable bearing.
I also remove the fan assembly, 2 bolts, 2 connectors, and lift out, much more room.
