Well the leader was a standard fit in USA and available from many places (eBay etc). Make sure you get a ‘legal’ sprung one.
The chrome strip was never standard so you will need to talk to a jag breaker to get one from a 60’s car or use modern version etc https://www.carbuilder.com/uk/chrome-trims
Not mine, but seen on a FB group.

Chrome Bonnet Strip with Jaguar
Hi Cafcpete.
I just signed up. I have an old XJ6, (attached), which has one of these chrome strips with a Jaguar on the bonnet. It seems original. I say this because my father bought the car in Rome in 1974, 4.2 right hand drive, overdrive model, and we've owned it since in Melbourne Australia. I say original as in that era the Italian in Rome who owned this vehicle wouldn't have gone to the trouble of fitting the bonnet feature. Another thing, the car came with clear front blinker plastics, which are still original on the car today. My question is, how do I find what year this car is? You mentioned above that one would need to obtain one from a '60's car. So can I assume the car is either a '68 or '69 model? The car is in great condition with only 119,000km on the odometer, aircon, electric windows etc so seems quite optioned. Any info is appreciated. Thanks in advance.
George.

I believe the clear marker lights and for sure the smaller outer headlights are for the US market. To determine the production date for sure, you can apply for a Heritage Certificate. https://www.jaguarheritage.com/archi.../certificates/
To get an indication, you can look at the table of chassis numbers here: https://www.jaguarheritage.com/uploa...31-03-2020.pdf Note that these go by calendar year, not model year.
None of the Series I/II/III cars came from a leaper from the factory, that has been added later.

Hello George, that is one lovely car and very rare with that spec!
The XJ6 was launched in 1969, and as jagboi69 has said the JDHC certificate is the best way to find out the build and spec of your car.
Looking at brochures form Jag-lovers Jag-lovers brochures - 1970-1979 Index the USA cars had amber lenses and wing repeaters at the front, but no bonnet strip.
I don’t know about the Italian cars, but there are obvious differences to the UK/USA versions, that round wing repeater being one. So maybe the chrome strip was a standard Italian feature. Only way to find out is the certificate, or look on Italian Jaguar websites!
