Cooling fan brushes
My XJ6 is now at 254,000 miles and going great! However the cooling fan brushes have worn out as my method of shaking/vibrating the carbon out of the motors (there is a small opening in the front bottom to let it out) is no longer keeping them working well.
- Does anybody know what the brush size is and if they have found a good replacement before I break into a motor?

Maybe this size
The fan motor connector plastic lock on clip can break
.15" x .15" x .35" BRUSH 33A (eurtonelectric.com)

Thanks!
I went ahead and opened one up and tried to measure one without pulling it (I was able to manage a little more extension to keep it going for now).
This one seems to be the best potential fit I can find so far:

My rough measurement estimates it to be about .24 x .31 x .6 INCHES (or 6x8x15 mm) with the 8 being height.
