BOOM Spark!! It was that #5 Relay. I actually ignored previous advice about it because I thought the fact that it said "(AJ16)" next to it in the manual that it meant it was the v8 or supercharged engine and wouldn't relate to my inline 6, especially when I found no relay in there, and switched it for one that I guess was actually bad. Then I looked into what (AJ16 meant...). I went and bought a new 5 pin relay at the store this morning put it in and cranked the engine and got spark on my pulled plug. Good call on the relays being in different spots on their mountings. They had been switched around too.

I will update on progress once I have finished cleaning the fuel tank and installed my new fuel pump.

Thank you so much for your help

After fuel pump installation rotate the keys several times the run position to charge the fuel lines before starting in the start position attempt

Charging is different than cylinder priming

On fuel pump change it is recommended to change the fuel pump relay and inspect the pump motor connector sockets for burnt sockets

On first rotation of the key before the start position the pump will run for 3 seconds only per key cycle

Leave foot off pedal when starting , there is no goosing to get more fuel

Did you see 300 RPM on the tach indicating good CKPS ?

New fuel pump, turned key a few times and heard the pump working, and then Bang!!! Fired up!! SO good to hear to it start.
Runs nice however its got a serious leak at the fuel rail. Would this be repairable? or should I just look for a replacement.

Better bet is replace the fuel rail as a repair is questionable on this flammable liquid

nothing to play with

Agreed. It is an easy part to find, and easier to install. No need to monkey around with repairs here.

It's cracked in a part that isn't supposed to come apart, so replacement is really the best bet.
