The X300 with the V12 is the X305 in the section next to this one

The V12 ECU is different then for the inline 6 and was later made by Denso

You would have to look at yours to make sure you are referencing the correct ECU as there was some changes in the last couple of years production

A parts info link is here

Genuine Electronic Control Module-6.0 Litre (6.0 Litre) For Jaguar Xj 1995 - 1997 (from 720125 To 812255) Classic | Jaguar Land Rover Classic Parts

And a Jaguar technical manual is here starting on page 193

What kind of equipment do you fly ?

I found the Falcon 20 to be built like a tank and the hell hole in the back behind the pressure bulkhead was interesting

Thanks P7, I will check all that out!!

I fly the Hawker HS125, I have 13 years on it now!! A great airplane, that is sadly now becoming an out-of-date dinosaur, although I love it dearly. It has kept me safe and endured the unendurable, from -25 in Moscow to ‘inches’ of ice in Munich. I fly (flew) the 750, 800, and the mighty 1000!! Not many flights left now.

And that funny Yoke , but you couldn't beat that cabin size for the cost until recently with the Challenger

What was your issue with the ECU ?

Yes, even Concorde had the same yoke! But an extremely capable aircraft. In fact my old company (Netjets Europe) replaced the Hawker with The Challenger 350.

I think I may have a problem with the ECM as the left side of the V12 engine is blowing completely cool air from the exhaust, ie the left side isn't working at all. The right side is as normal.

G'day Jetboy,

Try swapping the IGN modules, under where the tools live, over and see if the problem changes sides.

Cheers,
Jeff.

The VIN # is critical for the 95 year on the V12

Last 6 numbers 7xxxxx

Manufacturer of the ECU ?

This thread may help. Mine had similar symptoms. Shop diagnosed mine as corrosion in the ECU.
