I ship the brackets worldwide from the UK. I'm now currently out of stock, but the next batch should be ready on 4th October, if you want to order one. This new batch of brackets will fit all Jaguar AJ16 engines, including those fitted to the XJR6 (95-97MY)

Nighteyez
may I humbly recommend combining Andy's bracket with a pod filter to maximize the benefit?
I convinced a 68 mm K&N pod to fit, (I bought the filter on a whim before I had a chance to properly measure the diameter of the plastic pipe behind the airbox), but the appropriate diameter is 75-76 mm. It opens up the top end and with the advanced spark timing, the AJ16 gets a new lease of life...and this is only on the 'baby' 3.2

I certainly agree with AL NZ, same mod here on 3.2, goes like a rocket! Big, heavy, long, comfortable rocket

Pardon my ignorance, but what is a pod filter? You mean replacing the stock air filter with a K&N filter? Or is it something else?

Pod filter looks like the link below
it is sort of cylindrical often with an inner surface too, so has a bigger surface area.
there are replacement panel (flat) filters but in my experience with 2 previous non-Jag cars not worth it - same surface area, same restrictive air box.
The pods give a bit more intake noise, but not excessive on my 3.2 and I like the sound. Worth turning the stereo off to hear it..

Okay, thanks for the info. Will have to get one of those after the bracket arrives (and after I get the car smogged, as they will not pass it with that filter on.)

I have had 6 orders for brackets in the last week, so if anyone wants one from the current batch, then don't delay.

Recently got my bracket fitted. Car feels a fair bit more spritely, so a thumbs-up from me.

Will have to wait on getting mine installed, took a 2 day trip down the coast, and ran over something that put a hole in the oil pan. So when that is replaced, I will have the bracket installed.

I'm afraid not. This modification only works for AJ6 and AJ16 engines.

I emailed you regarding the bracket. Suppose you have none left from last order? If not, I would like to put in my humble request for one when another order come round. Thanks!

Where I live improved acceleration and speed is not that important. Fuel mileage IS. In rural East Texas everything is a long way off unlike what it is in UK. So, what mileage improvement am I likely to see? Right now with the 95 4.O I get around 26 mpg highway at 70 mph.
