Default Electrical problems

Here is what is happening.
While driving both low beams would turn off randomly or not work from the start. Eventually they turn back on after 3-10 minutes. At the same time my headlights turn off, my turn signals stop working and I noticed that my car seat heater switch does not illuminate when I push in the switches. In the daytime I have the same problem (no turn signals) and if I turn on my headlights they do not work. There is a ding-ding-ding sound that is coming from below/behind my dashboard only some times.
This only started after it started getting cold in my area (25-40 degrees Fahrenheit). After my car has been driven a while (after 30 minutes) the problem seems to go away.
Tomorrow I plan on looking at the fuses and relays. Any ideas what may be the problem other than driving a 25 year old car that has many many grounds. There must be something that connects all this!

Thanks,
Jomo

Recommmend focusing on the headlights first and the other issues may fall in line

See aage 107 of the 96 wiring guide

The british use the terms

Main = High ?

Dip = Low ?

Pilot = small courtesy light bulb

and I can never keep them straight in my head

Someone correct me on the above if I have them crossed

The pairs of lights use the same ground stud

With the Main you have a dedicated large relay and the power source through the relay is fuse # 2 / 15 amp Right engine fuse box , hot at all times

With the Dip you have a dedicated large relay and the power source through the relay is fuse # 4 / 10 amp Left engine fuse box , hot at all times

The fuse and relay map is here between page 17 and 23

X300 1996 LWB.pdf (jagrepair.com)

A quick note on the control of the lights is a history of some wires coming loose on the stalk switch

Can be resoldered

There are pics

This is a pic of what I think is the same for a X300 , dem wires just loosen their ways off from reading others and may be worth inspection
