Engine light came on and car started to leek antifreeze.
I just recently went to check out a 1995 XJ6. The guy was asking 3800 OBO and the car was in really good condition. For a 95 it looked brand new! It had 113,000 which I figured wasn't too many miles for a car this old. I got inside the car (the interior was almost flawless) and all the power features worked just fine, no electrical issues that I noticed. I started the car and it fired up with no problems. I looked on the dash and no lights were lit. I took it for a cruise and everything seemed to be just fine. The car drove real smooth and was nice and quiet over bumps. I gave the car a little gas and it had excellent pick up, everything seemed great. When I started bringing the car back I looked down and noticed the check engine light came on. When I arrived at the owner's house I parked it in the garage, got out, looked under the car and noticed it was leaking antifreeze. I REALLY REALLY liked this car and was just wondering if anybody can give me some help as to what the problem might be, if it's anything major, and if the car would be worth buying.
Thank you so much and I would greatly appreciate it.

Could be something and nothing, could be something major. Check for obvious splits/leaks.
What was the temp gauge doing?
What was the coolant level warning light doing?
What was the general condition of the garage floor, ie was it obvious that this is a regular issue?
The list is endless.
Get the service history from the owner.
I don't know prices in your area.

Well, $3800 would be right for a pristine XJ6 , and there is little liklihood the leaking fluid is from something serious. However, you need to have the codes read to determine the severity of the CEL. Autozone or Advance will read them for free. Of course, it would be good to know the coolant was not squirting out between the head and the block.
Any chance you are going to work on this car yourself? Beware if you are not. Although they are relatively simple to work on, the Jaguar name will move you into $125. to $195. hourly rates and many independents won'r work on them.
