Default Fitting a small 10 inch subwoofer

Back again after great success with my door speaker replacement, I'm looking for a few suggestions for hiding a 10 inch subwoofer. The subwoofer is shallow and only needs three and a half inch clearance from front to rear however I want this to look like a factory install any suggestions?

You should be able to use that stock subwoofer location in the "package tray" area under the rear window.

I don't remember the measurements but you could always let it be a bit raised, and add some vinyl trim covering that matches.

I think the shape is oval, so a little adjustment would be necessary.

You access the wiring by pulling out the trunk wall near the fuel tank.

You can connect the subwoofer frame direct to the car frame with some solid bolts, etc. to eliminate vibration.

You may need to do some grinding, drilling, etc. but it should look ok once you replace the package tray cover and its new subwoofer cover.

It's a stock 6x9 shape, so you can fit a round shallowmount sub in there with an adapter and still fit the top grill for a stock look. I used this unit, running new RCA wiring from a new headunit (Pioneer DEX-P99RS) to a new 5-channel amp, and new speaker wire from the sub channel the very short distance to the subwoofer (didn't use a dual coil sub, which was stock) I did use the stock wiring from the amp location out to the door speakers though.

Sub - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00BV3DE4O/

Adapter - https://www.amazon.com/Metra-82-6901.../dp/B0007WQ8XE

Amp - https://www.amazon.com/XD700-Audio-5.../dp/B004A8PTAE

Sounds spectacular.
