Default Fixed my broken front turn signal.

It had a hole in it from a rock or something. I took it off and found about 95% of the broken parts still inside the light. So I glued them back in place and sanded every thing so it was smooth and polished the light cover.

I think I could spray all the turn signals with some smoked lens paint and you would never know it was broken.

Sorry for no before pic the hole was 1in x .5in in size. Please excuse the old wallpaper in my garage.

It was a lot cheaper then buying a used one. The only other thing I might do is get some clear epoxy to fill in one spot. Then spray it with this stuff O'Reillys sells called nightshade.

Good work!

New lamps are silly expensive and good used ones are hard to find....and not especially cheap. Ask me how I know :-)

The used ones I looked at ranged from $100-175

I can't remember what I last paid for used ones....but I remember it seemed like too much! Non-broken ones are getting hard to find and the used parts vendors know it

Over the years I've replaced *multiple* headlamps and signal lamps. Gah! I buy spares when I see them cheap on Ebay or whatever.

Most of my driving is on the highway and the trucks are always throwing up debris. The positioning of the headlamps and signal lamps leaves them very exposed.

Cheers

I was going to buy a used one but when I was washing the car I saw most of the broken parts were still inside the light so I figured I would give it a try. I think if i used this stuff it would look near perfect.
