flywheel dampener troubles
hi, i have a 96 xjr with flywheel dampener problems. the rubber has apparently disentegrated and its screaching/ slipping on me and just making life unfun ....anyone know where i can find a rebuilt one or a good one at a reasonable price? better yet...anyone know where i can find one that is solid with no rubber inside to fail again?

I remember several years ago they were about $800.00 from the dealer.
I had one go bad on my 1992 XJ6 and I sent it to 'Damper Doctor' and they rebuilt it for me. I think it was around $100.00 to $150.00. I had a buddy with a 1995 and he sent his failing damper to them to get it repaired. There are probably several places that repair the crank dampers for around $100.00.
