having a problem finding.....
OK, I was an idiot when I changed a wiper blade
without something soft/padded under the wiper arm.
Now ANY 29-year-old car is going to
be problematic in finding a windshield/screen.
Add into it it's an English European import,
it just makes it more fun.
I actually found a reasonably priced new windshield.
It's a 7-hour drive, one way, to get it - more fun.
I am having a bit of a hassle to find the rubber
molding that goes around the windshield
I have a 1995 XJ6. At this moment
I do not particularly care from what
four corners of this globe it comes from.
Closer is better (I am in Louisiana, USA),
but if it is further - so, be it.
Any help in pointing me in a direction,
helpful advice and/or supplying the part
would be much appreciated.

Windshield gasket X300 - 1995
Hi, I'm happy to give you the gasket you need...
I'm in Italy, if you can't find it near you you will only have to pay me the shipping costs...
See you soon 😉

In case it makes you feel any better, you're not the only guy in the world to do this. I did it to my wife's SUV a few years ago. No idea how many wiper blades I have changed in my life but it is a lot. The arm slipped out of my hand, hit that glass and put a nice chip in it. I had a service center do whatever they do when there is a chip. A few days later, a big crack spread across the windshield.

Hi Gottabekidding,
X300 windshield seals are still available from URO Parts. Up to VIN 773451 the part number is GMB8865AB (the same part number fits the late XJ40). From VIN 773452 it is part number GMB8865AC (the same part number fits the X308). I don't know the difference between these part numbers, but try searching them at ebay and you'll find some on offer. It may be that the URO Parts seal fits everything from XJ40 to X308, including all X300s.
Cheers,
Don
