Default HELP: Name this part - throttle body
I can't figure out where this part came off my 1997 XJ6 4.0 NA throttle body.

Is it a seal for the Intake Air Control Valve?

It is rubber and has the following #'s stamped into it:

DSL23 / 277-93J


This came off when dis-assembly of throttle body on 4.0 6 cyl NA engine.

hmmm....if it wasn't rubber, I'd say it is the keeper for your throttle-return spring - the one you have to either modify or replace to mend the high-idle/throttle doesn't return issue

Where does this go on the throttle body housing of an X300 4.0 I6?
