How fast and how far do you drive your X-300?

I may be different to you guys but I didn't buy my Jaguar for the speed. I bought mine for the comfort and the "waft".
If you don't understand what "waft" is, think of it like this .....
You can drive a souped up Ford Escort or a tricked out Honda Civic and get from "A" to "B" a lot faster than me but I would cover that same distance with style. Don't get me wrong though. It's not a pretense of class. Nobody would mistake me for royalty if they saw me but it's more a state of mind thing.
Plus, I hate putting petrol in it.

How far do i drive it I now use it as my daily transport (300-400 business miles) and love it, I dont miss the GTI Turbo I used to have as a daily hack.
Just done a small tour in it round Wales even the wife commented how comfortable it was. The problem is now I drive it daily I'm picking up on every little fault and as fussy about my cars I will have to correct them
No so doubt will picking your brains on various things soon...
Just started a new business with my Jags as well so they will get used even more and hopefully start earning there keep.

I live in rural S. California, it is 40 miles each way ( 60-65 MPH form me to get to a city where there are the major retail business (Cosco CVS Wall-mart) plus I my work I drive to Nevada once or twice monthly (1200 miles round trip @ 75-90 MPH) One time in rural Nevada I wanted to see what was the top speed so I had the Jag purring at 142 mph for a minute or two.
My 96 VDP has performed flawlessly
