1. The paint question is fairly wide open. Paint jobs depending on colors can range from maybe $500 up to five figures. My guess is for a middle of the road quality metallic and clear coat paint job plan on somewhere between $3K and $4K. Others may have additional information.
2. For cup-holders try ken@britishparts.com for starters. While he may not have NOS replacements, he may have something available from their salvage yard.
Good luck,
Mike

I was gonna say $3000-$5000 for a decent job. So much depends on the amount of time they'll have to spend on prep work. Is the original paint very badly deteriortated or delaminating?
A few years ago a pal of mine spent $5800 for a paint job on his XJ6. That included fixing some door dings and a strip-down to shiny metal in a few areas. It looks great and is holding up well.
Cheers

As a '95, the original paint system was a good one, and there is usually not need to strip to bare metal as there was with cars painted with TPA, the previous, (deeply flawed), system. Mostly the cost is in repairing all the little dings and dents that build up over the years. Note especially that if you can strip off all the external trim etc that is not being painted, and put it on afterwards, you can save quite a bit because if the painters do this they have to charge for it, it is labour time, and they are in business to profit from their labour.
In my experience, body and paintwork is 90% labour and 10% material.

Check out my page on my 95 I just finished.
There is no need to strip factory paint to the bare metal all top of the line finished are made to scratch with 400 to 600 grit and paint. Bodywork will require a 2k primer or sealer before paint. (Dupont is what I use but PPG or Glasurit are the same)
I wish you were closer to Portsmouth Ohio I would hook you up with an excellent job. I charge $1500 for what was done to my car from start to finish the Impala on the page was $2600.
Color is the big factor Blue, Green Black are under $250 a gallon for DuPont Chromabase Red however is $460.00 Clear will run $200 so what you really pay for is labor. The wet sand and buff is what I hate most about painting.
Go to a local car show and see who has done work on their own car, see if they would like to earn some extra money. You may be suprised how people have found me to paint for them. Plus a hobbiest has no overhead, that is how I can do it so cheap and still use top quality products. If you need any help drop me a line.....I would be glad to talk you through it.
