How to remove carpet panels in trunk without messing them up?
I want to remove or pullback the carpet panel near the antenna so I can replace/fix the antenna which doesn't go up anymore.
I have looked at this 5 or 6 times and I am not sure how to remove or pull back the carpeted panel without damaging it.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks..

VERY CAREFULLY, haha.
Now that silly reply is vented, sorry, too long under the XJ-S does that to me.
I remove the panel covering the spare wheel, then the battery cover panel, then the panel attached to the fuel tank (those 2 plastic fir trees are a mongrel), coz on mine the side panels are tucked behind that panel, so basically the boot space is trim free. Then grab that panel by the ear just inwards of the tailight, and pull it into the boot space, folding as it goes, watch those silly plastic covers on the backside of the taillights, they crack the tangs real easy, so remove them first I suppose.
They are a stiff moulded piece and pretty hard to damage, I know that sounds silly, but it is fact.
Refit is equally as scary, and I simple push and shove until it is home.
