I got my Andy Bracket
I got my Andy Bracket in yesterdays' mail. Twelve days in transit from the U.K. to the U.S.A. Not bad. I installed it this morning using a quarter drive set and a flashlight (the sun was not neccessarily in a favorable position relative to the job. Mighty inconsiderate of Old Sol). Tolls used were a 6, 8 and 10 mm socket, an eight inch extension and the ratchet arm. Hood to hood was twelve minutes without trying to beat the clock. I thought I would have to pull the fans but, instead, I pulled the upper radiator hose off the tstat housing, loosened it at the radiatior and rolled it out of the way. One bolt (8mm) secures the sensor to the bracket which came out of the stock bracket without drama once twisted just to break stiction. Two ten mm bolts secure the bracket to the cover. I wiped the grunge from the sensor to permit easier and prettier reinstall. Hang new bracket, install sensor, check for sanitary withdrawal from operating theater, close hood.
First impressions are these: If I use the usual throttle opening I accelerate more rapidly. If I accelerate at my usual pace I use a smaller throttle opening and the trans upshifts earlier. At idle, in gear, the car is smoother. So, so good.
After I have more miles on the clock I will report again.

For me: iPaid...
Well, I say probably reasonable :P My wife keeps checking our bank account on at least weekly basis, and luckily for me she hasn't noticed the payment for bracket :P But she knows I fiddled with timing
