Default Jack Daniels Wiper Fluid Container?

A while back I was in a wreck that busted my wiper fluid housing, and messed up the fluid motor and sensors. I was wondering if its possible to mount a big glass liquor bottle (saw it on a hot rod, thought it was a cool idea), and make the whole thing work again. Any ideas??

Anything is possible, as long as you enjoy the liiquor PRIOR to installation.

The earlier XJ cars had a long thin washer bottle, with the pump mounted out the front with a hose supplying the pump.

A glass container rmay NOT meet crash testing safety issues, but who worries about that when the front gets biffed. Plenty of other glass flying aroung anyway.

It would be pretty difficult because I believe the fluid level sensor is fitted at the bottom of the reservoir, so you may crack the bottle trying to fit that. Also, the bottle would be a bit small to hold the fluid, but you could just fill it up frequently.

If you don't care about the sensor level you can jumper the plug and that will turn off the dash ligh.

Connect the the two wires together in the wire harness. Add a jumper wire to connect the leads. The washer fluid level is just a switch that turns the eletrical circuit on and off.
