Default SAAB LTQFM433 remote for 95 XJ6 VDP

I just received 2 remotes from Ebay and they both programed to my 95 VDP which is MHz 315.

Do not get confused by the Saab part number ending in 433, it is not the frequency. These are 315MHz.

I think the seller still has a pair for sale at the same price. Search LTQFM433.

Hello ! Glad to find some info on the FOBS.. I have 2 fobs, non-working, for my 97 xj6L... I was told to put new batteries in them and reprogram them. Would you or anyone out there have the correct reprogramming directions for this? I think I remember seeing them online once before. Everyone here seems to say "reprogram" like it is EZ but if I remember it requires a lot of steps... any help would be most appreciated... thank you!

Default Thank you

I am really hoping this can help me with my 97 XJ6 too.

Can I ask how you programmed the fob? I have just read another post from another owner who listed the following steps. Are these what you used?

open the driver side door

pulling highbeam lever and holding

put the key and move to i position

and release the highbeam lever

and quick flash highbeam 4 times

and you can hear horn once

after sound press lock button each key fob which you want to setting

(also you have to press lock button which in key box)

and remove the main key from key box

you can hear the horn twice.

Finish self setting your jag key fob.

Default Programming

No. I doubt that I’ll work. A few posts up in this thread a member posted the .pdf to Jaguar service procedure. I even remarked on thanking that person for posting. The Saab key fobs the buttons are backwards though....no biggie. I even took one Of mine apart and moved the rubber buttons.

also when you program, the order in which you do so corresponds with driver numbers? Like the first fob is driver 1 I think? For the seat and column memory system. So if it’s all working and you unlock with the fob that corresponds to your saved memory numbert....it should start moving or already be done when you get to the car. If another driver had moved things.

The procedure is the same for ALL X300 sedans.
