Looking at buying an X300, need some 1996 info
I am looking at a 1996 X300 that is listed as being a "sport" model, black with black leather. I searched the forum, and found a semi-related post in another section, but it was for a different model. I don't want to assume the information is the same for the X300.
I'd like to know the following:
1) What did the "sport" model have in addition to / instead of the "regular" model
2) Is there a way to visually confirm this model?
3) Does it have the smaller (3.2L) motor?
4) Is this model more or less valuable?
5) Does this model have any problems I should look for?
6) Figuring the car is in good condition not in need of repairs with 116K miles, what is a real world selling price for the car? I don't like to use KBB, since they are over-priced in my experience. I have used Edmunds TMV, which is supposed to be based on actual sales prices. Edmunds (clean condition) is about $400 lower than the asking price of $4800. The car has a clean history and title.
Due to the distance, I'm waiting on some seller photos before going to look at it and wanted to get as much info on it as possible.
Thanks for any help.
