Default Manifold Gasket part #

Does anyone have a equivalent part number for the the exhaust manifold to downpipe donut gasket item # 2 in the pic below ? Hard to find rummaging through the store boxes as there are many types . EBC9388 superseded by ↳ EBC9388A is the Jaguar #

Thanks , Parker

https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...titute-141066/

that thread might help, might not.

I used EAC9388

Do you have the locknuts? JZN100024 x4....Id get an extra or two.

I also needed the studs, since I couldn’t get he damn thing off without messing up the threads. EAC3823 x4

Exhaust manifold uses locknuts, if you’re pulling that off too. At that point you’ll also be replacing the metal gaskets too....look what I’ve done now, I’ve totally gone off track here.

Thanks Vee ,

I found a decent parts store that found some EBC009388 / 2.0 inch ID donut gaskets that will be here in a couple of days . As for the rest of the hardware appear to be OK as I had all from the block aft off and on 3 or 4 times . There is a slight deformation in one of the downpipe seal seating flairs that I straitened out . Will be placing some of the super high temp exhaust sealant in that seat area before assembling to fill the void and putting a heat gun to cure it before starting engine . Hope to get some more final torque on the 4 downpipe studs with some grease on the studs and will find out if the hardware holds up . Thanks for the number on the rest of the hardware . I asked around the parts store months ago and herd of nothing beyond the standard hardness on the gasket material as the seal was blowing a leak .

Will be horse rope and 2 X 4 levering back together in a couple of days .

Thanks , Parker
