Angry Mesh Grille Inserts Arrived Today

Not impressed with the fit or the quality of hardware. If you're a perfectionist, don't try to shape the inserts any different so that they fit better in the grille surround (and they don't fit perfect). Once you take them out once or twice after installing, the hardware is stripped.

You'd think somebody could come up with an after market mesh grille that installed like OEM and didn't have to have the brackets show
(I see an idea for a patent).

Forgot to mention that before I even got started I had to run to the hardware store to get longer screws and washers because the holes in the brackets that are suppose to accomodate the screws that hold the OEM fluted inserts were all too big.

I'm with Plums......tell us "WHO" you got them from. I'm thinking of getting some for the Mrs's car.

I got them from Mina. As I said, I didnot like the hardware and had to refit the grille's a couple times. However, the quality of the mesh itself is excellent and all said and done, it looks very sharp now that they're fitted correctly and inserted with the right screws.

I was impressed with Mina's customer service. They called me yesterday to see if I received the inserts. I asked him if he wanted my feedback and he said he would be very interested. I shared my frustration. He listened to me, was apologetic, and offered to send me out new hardware. I told him that because the brackets got stripped I actually went with a bigger flat head screw instead of the smaller oval head screw and that they held the mesh tighter to the bracket and they were no more noticeable. He was receptive, thanked me, and actually gave me the impression that they would revisit this issue to prevent a problem in the future.
