Default Congrats and Please join my facebook group

Congratulations on your achievement. I started a Jaguar owners high mileage group just over a year ago on facebook. Being a multi car owner. I am members of the Volvo high mileage club, Honda clubs, E55 AMG clubs and a few others. I did not see any High Mileage clubs for Jaguar. It's a great place to meet others with wonderful stories. We look forward to your next 300K road trips.https://www.facebook.com/groups/jagu...ghmileageclub/

I'm not on fb, but thanks for the heads-up! There's not too many X300's on the road these days, so most times, we'll exchange a nod and a wave as we pass each other in traffic. And a few times, we've had long conversations when we've happened to park near each other. I guess that's some kind of social media.

This model is in a limbo phase of not quite being a "classic" yet, even though it was born with classic styling, but I think it's definitely a lot further along in getting there than the other makes in its class. I remember thinking my parents' 1971 Chevy Malibu was just an old piece of junk, but now, with age, it seems a bit more timeless. I imagine the X300 will fare even better with age. My 11-year-old nephew already calls it an "old-timey" car.

Not quite to the same level, but mine just made the 123,456 mark last night

If I can keep the tin worm away, next target is 234,567 (assuming I live that long)

Well here's to your health, and your XJ6's, too!

Like you, I often notice interesting odometer turns, mostly numeric palindromes like 200,002.
