my XJR - cleaned, then photo'ed
Last weekend I finally got around to waxing my XJR.
I am a 'lazy' cleaner - I wash with a soft broom, AutoGlym wash, then cheat wax with Meguair's QuikWax, which does the whole car in about 10-15 minutes and looks as good as traditional paste waxes..
It is going well apart from still stalling intermittently at idle. The mechanic has new ICV and TPS, but the daimler 6 is now off the road as the radiator top hose attachment broke, there are no new tanks available, so a custom aluminium NZ made radiator is probably going to be cheaper than a new Jaguar radiator from UK.
