need help finding vanden plas book
i'm having a problem with my 1996 jaguar vanden plas. when i attached the code reader it said it was due to the obd2 sensor. when i took the car to my mechanic he said it was the transmission. quite frankly i dont trust him and am looking for the repair books for this car and cant find them anywhere. can someone help me find a good book that can tell me about this car. mechanics and body. thanks

You can download the JTIS manual from Christo's message. This covers 98-03 XJ cars, but you should be able to use it for body and brakes type stuff. It may cover transmission as well, but consult with a tech first to make sure. Also, jag-lovers.org has a ebooks section that covers the X300 cars. You will have to register but it's free.
