Also which Bilstein did you order? When I got mine I was told the Touring Class (Black Body) was the only one available anymore?

The Bilstein B6 "Heavy Duty" shocks are the direct replacements for the OEM "green" Bilstein shocks on the US X300 XJR.

They appear to still be available from Shock Warehouse:

24-185806 F4-BE5-6725-M0 Bilstein Jaguar XJR and 300

Old Part No: F4-BE5-6725-M0

Good to know! One would have to drive both to see which one was best I guess.

I'm glad you are pleased with the poly bushes. I am in the process of fitting mine, I used the superflex ones. One question, did you use a large washer under the head of lower wishbone pivot bolt or just use the bolt head as a bearing surface for the polybush? I added a large washer on the other end under the tiebar to provide something round and smooth to turn against.
, but figured that the bolt head was big enough for the smaller rear bush. Now I am thinking should I re-assemble it as something round would probably be better?
Im really looking forward to trying it out but whilst I had the subframe off I decided to paint the body and discovered that the damper mountings need reparing, so more work first.

I just left the bolt head because I think it will be fine. But if I would have had a washer I would have used one.

Front end springs, shocks and bushes.

My beauty.

Before ride height. Notice the rear wheels are pushed out more than stock. More to come on that.

ditto.

it's that yellowish looking ball at the bottom that is the
most interesting.

The yellow ball is a aftermarket aluminum shifter knob for a Honda. I was unable to drill a hole in the ball bearing I bought. Everything worked very well. I used a thicker threaded rod (m22) and it was almost too big to fit but it did clear.

I still have it and will let it go for $75 shipped.

Are the bushings quiet? I've just finished removing all the poly bushings the PO put in my XJS because it squeaked horribly over every imperfection. Drove me crazy.

I can't say as I noticed any difference in handling with everything back to OEM rubber, and the car is so much nicer to drive now that it's not creaking and groaning all the time.
