need wheel specs offsets
hi guys
newbie to the forum
i just bought a 97 x300
i'm looking to buy aftermarket wheels something along the factory milans
i want to do the staggered 18x8.5 frt and 18x9.5 rear ?
i know that i need
73.9 hub or centric
5x120.6 lug pattern
what i need to know is the offsets
i've seen 20's and 35's etc
i'm looking for a decent lip in the rear wheels
i'm sure there has to be a few guys on here running something similar
any help would be appreciated !!

Nothing wrong with the Forum sport, you're just asking about a topic that few have seen fit to concern themselves with. The fact that you have done the research makes you the reigning expert: just measure your stock wheel offset and don't get too courageous about increasing the track. Anything you do to space the wheel flange further from the hub increases the load on the bearing dramatically.
I put factory Kiwi's on my '97 VDP, I thought they looked great. One of my XJ8's just got a set of Borbets, the're cheap and look better than the stock Sunburst or VDP Crown wheels. You might also want to search Coventry wheels and see what they have.
