Nothing on the dash, lights gauges ect
Help! my 96 XJ6 was running great then one day my remote stopped working, and door locks went with it, (main lock button did nothing)
I found a burnt fuse in the truck and replaced but no change.
Car also would not start (i do have that shitfer issue). I had the Body control module disconnected and some one turned the key. After that everything on the dash doesn't work.
I have a ECM, BCM and some other control moudle that was located next to the BCM (what is it?) from a 95 XJ6, any Idea would help, no its not a fuse.
Also to top things off the manuals DVD from Jaguar Heritage no longer works ( my new computer says it has a Trojan) so I can not open the wiring diagrams to look for help.

On the road again!
Update, back up and running, the loss of gauges was because i forgot to plug in a connector near the BPM. The loss of starting and no chiming when key was inserted was a bad BPM. The loss of door locks and keyless entry was a bad security locking control unit. Now I just have to program my remote to the new control unit. Thank god for a single xj6 at my local pull and pay junk yard!
I now have extra ECM, DCM, ACCM, all the relays, radiator with fans, condenser, cd player (why not) and stereo. Unfortunately I was too late for the TCM and LCM. But next time.
Must be
165k and still purrs
