Plastic line on the intake manifold

Plastic line on the intake manifold
Recently picked up another 96 XJ6 that was broken and partially disassembled. The coolant pipe was leaking and the previous owner was in the process of repairing it but gave up. The intake was 90% off but the plastic line, about 8mm in diameter I would say, was still attached. It appears to have had a plastic ring around that had been broken up for the most part. After some pushing and pulling I got it out, my question is, how is it supposed to be disconnected? Is there a clip I can replace? The previous guy was just doing a silicone repair, I pulled off the pipe and replaced both gaskets as well as the aptly named ******* hose. I have a new octopus hose as well, car needs paint but is rust free, I hope to take the best from our rusty 96 and combine them to make a good, rust free car that will last for some years. Any input on this plastic line is appreciated, thanks!

While pressing in the black ring that surrounds the pipe at the brass ring, Pull gently the black pipe. Silicone spray while wiggling pipe perhaps. It has a Chinese finger type trap inside of it. Take picture and Vin # to dealer and purchase. You can disassemble the brass fitting, clip and O-ring on bench and install into existing brass fitting.
