Well that is unfortunate. The diagrams and pictures of all the connectors (from post #1) have disappeared! I did not copy those diagrams, I planned to come back here if I needed them. So the only diagram we have is the irrelevant one, that didn't disappear. I don't know where Jacob is, but maybe Aholbro has it. I can't remember how to tag them in this thread....?
Hmmm....would you know the specifications of the amp and the subwoofer? As in how many channels they have and what sort of power they output?
I was thinking of replacing my head with the classic infotainment system Jaguar offers. Which is a 4 x 45 Watt unit (not sure what the RMS on that is). So was wondering if I could refit that with perhaps upgrading the speakers but leaving the subwoofer and amp intact...thoughts?
Ignore that it says for XJ8, it is the correct one for the X300 (I installed one when playing with the idea of ditching the original radio).

Thank you for that!
I see that the head unit Jaguar offers is a 4 x 45 Watt. If I connect that to a 30 W amp, would that still work? And when I look for new speakers should I be looking for 45 Watt or 30 Watt ones?
That question is above my pay grade, so I will leave it to more audiophile members!
BUT you will/should be using the line out signals from the new unit, not the amplified output so I don’t think it matters.
4x45 =180w total
as opposed to
8x30=240w total.
Don’t know if that has any significance, just showing I can do basic maths lol

Hmmm... Same I am at a loss too. But I do believe that after I hook up that kit you linked to the back of the head unit, the signal would go from the head unit to the amp (via that kit) and then to the speakers
