Price To Powdercoat Rims

I was looking to get some new rims for my '96 XJ6 until I was told that I would have to get custom made rims in order to fit which would cost me around 2k each. Instead, I figured I'd have the rims stripped down and powder coated chrome. What would be a good estimate for this in your opinion per wheel?

MTZGR777,
There are companies that remanufacture Jaguar rims and offer them for sale on the internet. I expect this will be less expensive than having it done yourself.
Search using 96 XJ6 rims (or wheels), and you'll see many of them. You could also search using Jaguar wheel names like 20 spoke, Aero, Dimple, Kiwi, Lattice or Turbine.
Some do an exchange, others sell them outright.
A year or so ago, I bought four Dimple wheels that looked like new to me (but were obviously used because the surface that faces the tire wasn't new-looking). Dimple was the least expensive type I found, but I'm very happy with them. They're not actually chrome, but look great on the car I think. I paid about $130 each, which I understand was a great price. And this was a non-exchange price, as my car came with some giant 20" Enkei rims on it [which I'm looking to sell, along with the Proxes tires.]
Good luck!
