Re Chrome covers on X300 front bumper
Hi all just a quick question
Some clown damaged the front corner of my XJR splitting the bumper and damaging the front fender didn't break the headlights or indicators so I am getting the bumper plastic welded or epoxied whichever works and the fender removed and dents taken out but have noticed the chrome on top of the bumper has lifted are there some special clips needed to hold the trim down or is it just held in place by some special means the side chrome trim looks like its got a dent have seen some second hand ones on E bay but was wondering how it gets held on do I need to order special clips or something
thanks

There are clips* along the top the bumper which the bottom lip of the chrome slides under, plus a large number of screws which go in from behind. You can't see the screws until you take the bumper off.
