I turned a sharp corner this afternoon and felt as if I lost control of the vehicle--the vehicle was swerving from left to right although I was tightly holding the steering wheel-- and then it happened once again in a similar situation just moments later. I was not speeding. Mine has 110k on it. what could be the cause of this?

Loose wheel bearing, worn tie rod end, something going on with the steering? I think I would drive very slowly and not a long ways away to a shop and have them put it on a lift and see what they find. Even a local Sears, Monroe, Firestone, etc should be able to diagnose something like this.
