Default Removing X300 wing mirror covers

Hi, I got myself a spare X300 wing mirror assembly which I want to use on my car.
The spare one has a cover on it in a different colour.

I would like to exchange the covers so that the "new" assembly has my colour cover on it.
However I don't manage to get the cover off the thing....
Can anyone tell me how to do it?

Thanks.

Nice one Oubadah, will be adding that to the FAQ because it is difficult to find a decent internal pic such as this.

There you go Matt.

The other solution, fit the mirror as is, and then lend the car to my EX, she'll have the covers off in a jiffy

Thanks a bunch, Oubadah!
I will be trying to get it off later this week. Should be easy now that I know where the clips etc. are.
