Roasting Chestnuts
And you thought it was Christmas. No, I'm talking about my chestnuts.
When I turn on the seat heater, it gets REALLY hot. My Cadillac has three heat settings, but Kitty is just on.
Perhaps me bum and giblets are too sensitive. Has anyone thought of a way to perhaps reducing the voltage so to lower the temp?

Funny you mention this. I get a hot poker searing my inner left thigh if I use my seat heater. Surprised the heck out of me the first couple of times. I may be a slow learner, but learn I did. Now I simply turn it off when I smell singed flesh......
Even my Jag specialty mechanic commented on it. He had no idea why it would get so hot either. Bad sign. I hope someone somewhere has an answer.

The usual complaint is that the seat heaters are a bit weak. I suspect you're elements might be burning out--literally.
