Seat Mechanism Overhaul

Seat Mechanism Overhaul
I've been having trouble sliding my seats for some time now. It's the switches playing up, requiring substantial force and precise angling to engage the motors.
Well today I couldn't get the drivers seat to slide at all, so I was wondering if anyone has experience with rejuvenating these switches.
EDIT: I realise my title is a little misleading...

I have no idea whether is all about the switches or buttons are the smoking gun . Lower butt area on driver side in my Jag also occasionally work but if I mess with the passenger seat buttons and move them up / front and then back to lower area that is beginning to work normally .
I dare say , seat module or both seat buttons are interconnected some sort of .
So, try passenger seat and tackle with it . That may sound funny but give it a try and after you're done with the passenger seat up / front , get back to the faulty button and see if it makes difference
