Default See photos - Mysterious dust cover drive shaft (?)

Good morning to all fans Jaguar X300 1995-97!
Does anyone recognize this detail which is located at the end of the transmission shaft near the elastic joint?

This is the broken piece which is located inside the drive shaft

... in the junction where there is the elastic joint...

Here you can see that it is located inside the end of the drive shaft

It is an oil seal or better rigid plastic dust cover with a diameter of about 3 cm that I could not find in any manual or data sheet ...
.
Thank you very much to those who can help me... Max

You have the same broken piece as me! I also searched in vain and didn't find a part number for that part

In the end, I simply took the driveshaft to a driveshaft specialist and asked them to replace that bearing...I remember that it was very cheap and a quick job...I believe they had sourced the bearing directly from a Jaguar dealer

Ciao caro someguywithajag,

Grazie ;-)

Yes, it really is hard to describe. It's a type of spring seal. It's pressed inside the drive shaft...the end that the output shaft of the differential goes inside

Ciao XSALTY... Eh... Bella domanda...

Exactly! I am not sure about the dimensions but this is exactly the part. Thank you...I didn't even know what to call it! Now in the future, when it goes bad, I can just measure it and search for a replacement

I had to get that end bearing replaced again at the shop. So I asked them for the part number. It is 005375

Googling that I get it a URO part with numbers CBC8996B and URO-005375
