I too have tired the FAQ, too no avial, nothing comes up. I too lookign for tech/shop manuals for my 1995 xj6, have a whinning noise in the rear. i'm thinking i might be able to do rearend if it is the pinion gear, been awhile since of done anything to differentials. any info most appreciated

doug, sorry somewhat new, i just tried looking again, in the search feild i put shop manuals, nothing , then just manuals, nothing, si can you give suggestes how to nav the FAQ link, i've got soem othe things to do be nice to see soem illustrated breakdown pics, etc etc, thx for any help, or can email me direct if you like

Maybe you are not noticing the little yellow one line banner that pops up just below top of the page that you must click to allow your firewall to download the file?
Of you are looking for illustrated step by steps, you just ain't gonna find it for these cars. AFAIK, no Haynes type manual exists. The shop manuals are reference manuals for trained techs. So, get them and then get advice and help here, You will not find much on rearend assembly and disassembly as I recall- Only the torques and so on. And a list of a bunch of diodfferent setup tools. Black dog sells remanufactured ones for abot $ 800. as I recall.
