Spark Plug light and dying when stopped
#21
This was quite awhile ago and now I'm struggling with a check engine light so my car is just sitting but though that I would check in.
I ordered RC12YCC spark plugs from the UK and they helped A TON!.
Occaissonally the car would still die at idle or not want to start up so I started the process of replacing all of the ignition coils as well. The car is starting up and idling 120% better now.
So far replaced:
Spark plugs with RC12YCC
Brand new battery
Replaced all ignition coils
No I'm facing a problem with the shifting. It is extremely hard to get the car to shift at all and it will not drive in the first D, only the second. Check engine light still on but heading to autozone tomorrow to get it cleared and see if I have sorted that out with the ignition coils. My engine codes with all misfires and random engine misfires so hopefully I won't be crying over this. This is becoming more of a pain than my Explorer was. *cry*

Update:
Had codes pulled at autozone and all engine misfire codes and random engine misfire codes are gone. Replacement of all of the ignition coil packs seems to have worked. Now I've got a P1775 code which is most likely because my gear box is screwed...so I'll probably be making a new post on that.
