Sporadic stalling

Sporadic stalling
I've been working on this problem for over a year. I did all the suggestions with the most recent being to pull the ECM, clean all the terminals and re-install.
One of the checks was to check the ground on the battery. When I tried to tighten the ground, I twisted it off. I reground a new connection on the wall and re-attached the ground with a sheet metal screw. Now it doesn't appear to have sufficient ground. Is there something in the ground lug that I missed by going to the body?

Sorry to hear of the continuing troubles Kirk!
Here is your thread from last year. I made a correction to my post there, as I had identified the fuel pump relay with a red base, and it should be the green base relay in the trunk fuse box.

Perhaps a new set of Champion spark plugs are needed? Those seem to work best in the AJ16.
Did you check and clean, or replace the EGR valve? It too can cause stalling.
Good luck, keep at it. It is probably a simple fix that is difficult to diagnose.

sporatic stalling
OK. I think I have done everything anyone has suggested. For review, I have been dealing with this issue for over a year. Stalls running down the road at any point in time.
I replaced the throttle position sensor, the crankshaft sensor, rebuilt the cam shaft sensor ( get those two backwards sometimes), replaced the fuel filter, confirmed proper fuel pressure, changed spark plugs, new battery, removed and cleaned the throttle body, cleaned all relays. When I cleaner the egr, it is in suspect in that it was very dirty (might replace that anyway.
Took it to an import repair who couldn't fix it and said it was probably the ECM. Pulled that and cleaned all terminals.
Got is started a few minutes ago with multiple tries. Idled well for three minutes. Got started again and held rpm at 2000 for three minutes. Stalled and unable to restart after multiple tries.
Noticed that the exhaust manifolds were both red hot. I have only seen this once before in a triumph many years ago. The glow was not normal but makes no sense with previous smooth idle for three minutes. Oil is fine.
Suggestions welcome.
