Suspension questions
I'm about to change my shock absorbers and any bushes that need replacing on the front pair. Does anyone have a good method apart from a pry bar of checking the link on the x300 xj6 sport?
Also I have been told I need to replace my wishbones they seem fairly cheap so I dont think im going to bother looking for a place that fits the bushes and just buy new ones. is it also worth changing the Vee mounts while im in there.
Finally would I need any specials tools for this and would I need a spring compressor at all?

You won't need a spring compressor to replace the shocks but you would to replace the lower control arms or lower control arm bushings
If the vee mounts are badlycracked and/or collapsed and/or look like hell, replace 'em! If not, I don't see any reason to.
Cheers
