I just lucked out and bought a 96 Vander Plas with 41K. The car came from an estate sale. When I picked up the car today I spoke with the woman whose dad had passed he was 88. It turns out that the car was original her mothers and she had passed 5 years ago. Her Father could not bring himself to sell the Jag, he lived in a high rise building that allotted 1 parking space per unit so he kept his car outside and the Jag in the underground parking.

 

Nice, sounds like good luck with the car, but I must say that we NEED pictures!

I am really pleased that I had a chance to speak with you and hopefully make this difficult time a wee bit easier for you
I am not sure when I will get around to registering the Jaguar the plates are good until Nov) but when I do I am going to keep them the same
The difference will be that MY4NCAT will be on a Nevada or a Michigan plate depending on where I register it and as soon as I do I will post your moms plates to you.
Some think that I am a bit eccentric to have so many Jaguars but I just LOVE the vehicles, the Leather the Burl Wood Dash I could go on and on but will not bore you
Barn cats are the BEST cats in the world

And I am so glad you are keeping MY4NCAT! I didn't think you could in California which is why I asked for the plates. Even the Living Desert here will be glad you are keeping the plate. They just got their first Jaguar - and my Dad was part of the support behind getting it. A picture of him with your Jaguar wearing a "Living Desert" license plate at the Living Desert. Everyone loves Jaguar's!
