Did you get to sit in it? Its a tight fit.
No passenger rides as it isn’t registered for the road as far as I know.
I had the pleasure of attending the official presentation at Shorters in Auckland and we have had it on display at our Viaduct event last year and the Intermarque Concours in February.

No, I didn’t even ask. They know I love Jags and I bought a Volvo off them last year. I didn’t touch it either - as a kid my job was to polish our aluminum-bodied Vauxhall 30-98, which only took about 5 hours, and then everyone would put their mitts all over it
While I was looking at the XKSS, the salesman was trying to talk me into a new XJ 575 which of course I’d love, but not for NZD$200,000 !

It isn't just in the UK either; they can't be registered anywhere in the civilized world. I mean, where are the air bags, the ABS and all the rest of the paraphernalia that goes with a modern car? When Jaguar built the lightweights, one owner managed to get it registered in Montana, but AFAIK that is the only one. The new D-types cannot be registered, not the 9 XKSS. Except that somehow Jaguar managed to get one through the net and that is the one Hammond drove on Amazon Prime. But that will lose it's registration when the first MOT comes around. I'll stick with my Lynx. I can drive it anywhere
