Default Update to polished engine bay

Thought I'd share where I was up to now - spot the shiney bits!

That looks really good, Nice work!!! Not overly shiny, just enough for some good accents.

Looks good, I just can't imagine the amount of work to get it all stripped, polished and maintaining it... especially the steel

What'd you do to get your valve cover so shiny? Is that just the stock cover stripped and polished?

Simple as that, yes. If you've got a spare 100 hours or so, you can have one too

Still working on phase two of the inlet manifold, getting it to a mirror finish...

Something like that, but without buying any expensive bolt on covers etc. I want to keep it factory standard and use what it there already.

Question

How much of this work are you doing with the parts still installed?

I would think it would be a lot of work, and risking collateral damage, to keep removing and reinstalling the parts to polish them.

.
