washer pump not working
Good afternoon all,
The washer pump on 97 x300 packed up the other day. Just gotten round to replace the pump with a new part. (wrong part from ebay lol) but i tested the old pump when out of the car and it works.
So this leads me to believe it is a fault somewhere in the electronics on the car. checked the fuse. it's fine. Relay clicks. although the wiper no longer wipes when pressing the washer button. Wipers work fine on all other settings.
Tested the pump connector and there is no power there at all

It sounds like the wiper stalk switch isn't doing its' job. Have you got wipers working in the normal way, by flicking the stalk up or down for full on and intermittent?
Pressing "in" powers the pump and wiper, so maybe check for power out of the switch, beneath the steering column shroud. Test for power out in all settings, just to be sure!
The switch may just need a little cleaning, unless it's gone kaput altogether.
