I am looking to buy a used set of these wheels in need of refinishing. Again, any leads appreciated.

 

....bummer, a guy had a set on eBay just a few months ago for $75 each. But to that point, they pop up every so often on eBay and CL, and of course in the forum "for sale" section. So just keep searching every week or so.

And in fact, I'd recommend your posting a "WTB" (Want To Buy) ad in the classifieds section. You never know. The X300 XJR wheels are a "love em" or "hate em" affair it seems, very polarizing, and as such they do come up for sale not infrequently.

started with mothers metal polish and 1000 grit sand wheel,then 2000,then 3000,then 4000,finally 5000,it took a while but i like the outcome
