X300 1996 Cylinder Lock/Tumbler question....
hello everyone, I noticed that on my 96 XJ6 my cylinder lock is getting worn out, sometimes it hard for me to turn the key, its just not as smmoth as it was. Is there some kind of lubrication I can put in there to smooth it out? Or anything that can be used at all to resolve the issue? Also, what would a brand new cylinder lock/tumbler go for from Jaguar? Thanks everyone for your time....

you can use powdered graphite lube,
cured my ills relating to a newly cut key getting stuck in my ignition cylinder.
however! I have used graphite lube once and it has actually made a lock cylinder stick more,
the antidote to this is to just spray WD-40 in the lock and wiggle the key until it is freed up.
I'd start with the graphite lube first though.
