X300 3.2 Was stalling when hot, now won't start at all!

Hey I'm no jag me Janice but I had a jeep wrangler that was doing the same thing in the winter. It would start fine and run nice first thing in the morning. After you shut it off and try to restart it it would just keep cranking. So come to find out the little magnet in the cam shaft position sensor had water in in and froze so it broke. I changed it out and it ran and started like a champ every time

Why are you bringing this crap from 2011 up?

As someone's dragged it up... for reference, it was a MAF fault. Replaced it and the revs were permanently high. Paid Jaguar 1/2 hour workshop time to plug it in, they altered some stuff relating to the MAF and it was perfect afterwards. Simply changing the MAF was not enough to fix the fault.
