XJR Transmission oil cooler line no longer available, what are my options?
I need oil cooler return pipe (bottom) - NBD4510BB, which is no longer available. What are my options for repairing it, ideally "in situ"? Do I really need to remove the transmission crossmember and driveshaft and lower the transmission to replace the line?
I am contemplating either getting a used line or somehow converting the existing line to AN fittings. I read that replacing the line requires removing driveshaft, trans crossmember, removing shifter and lowering the trans. Is this indeed the case?
Does anybody here have experience with "improvised" repairs like flaring the hard line converting to AN lines? Hotrodders and swappers seem to be doing these kinds of things, but I have no first-hand experience. What kind of fitting do we have on the radiator for the trans cooler anyway? Should I look into an aftermarket trans cooler while I am at it?

Can you take a picture of where the lines go into the GM transmission ?
If I recall the GM transmission was redesigned through the X300 production years and has a Orange dot and the lines at the transmission where different
See TSB below

try to carefully cut the crimp and replace with rubber hose over the existing flare. if that fails cut cut it straight, slather hi tack sealant and double clamp the hose. wait 20 minutes and it is permanently bonded.
AN compression adapters really aren’t needed

I looked at the parts catalog on jaguarclassic nd my interpretation is that the lines are the same 95-97:
https://parts.jaguarlandroverclassic.../brand/jaguar/
oil cooler return pipe (bottom) - NBD4510BB
oil cooler output pipe (top) - NBD4500BB
The part numbers for the v12 version are different from XJR (NNA4500BA and NNA4510BA):
https://parts.jaguarlandroverclassic...e=C50442665011
Oddly enough the catalog does not mention differences for the v12 hoses either. May be they have enough reach to work with either version of the transmission?
