Default XJR/XJ6 center propshaft bearing replacement

Made a quick video documenting my quest to rid myself of an annoying driveline vibration. Hope others find it useful.

Absolutely! As the video shows I wasted time trying to align it and it was not until I dropped the center bearing mount that it was obvious that the rubber surround was toast. Replacing and then aligning made it smooth as silk. In my intro I report that I solved the problem.

Sorry, I couldn’t play the video (with sound) were I was at the time!
So please it worked as I have a similar vibration, so will try your solution.

Thank you for sharing.

Loved reading this, both as an Ontario resident, auto journalist as well as an ex-owner of an '08 XJR Kodi nox Portfolio.

I'm fairly sure this is what's wrong with mine. I have the vibration at speed and if I stand on it from 1st and into 2nd it makes an audible rumbling noise.

Where did you find the center bearing? I've looked around for it.
